This series of illustrations was influenced by a fascination and appreciation of this earth, and the animals living on it. The inextricable connection of each living being and nature is pure and beautiful. This works embodies the strength and trust that these animals have. With subtleties of sadness as their trust in us, as humanity, diminishes. Time and time again maiming their world and abusing their rights as spirits of this earth. Their souls though remaining pure and untouched, something far out of our reach. This body of work aims to raise awareness of the power we have and how we can help to begin to make amends for the wrong doings of our past and the decisions we have made in history as human kind.

To be the shakers, dreamers, star gazers, all while still keeping a humble balance of humility and kindness.
This body of work was awakened by a love of birds, the effortlessness of their movements while in flight and for the shapes they create while still and in the take off. Elements of their bodies and feathers have been illustrated slightly abstract to create obscure and accentuated shapes. This exaggeration symbolises freedom of expression and individuality.
